The Eschtruths

Brian and I are having fun cleaning up the yard and fixing the house to make it more livable. We both can't wait until we have our own house. It will be nice to do projects that matter. When we are renting we could redo the whole house, but no appreciation is shown by the landlords. Oh wells, it keeps us busy and our house looking good. All are welcome to come visit.

The backyard

Yesterday I finally decided to attack the weeds in my backyard. Needless to say it is about time, due to the weeds almost passing me up on height. So I grabbed my rake and gloves and started weeding. After an hour and not even making a dent in the back yard I decided to just mow them down. It is amazing how similar grass and mowed down weeds look. So now Brian and I have the nicest lawn on the block, which isn't saying much since we are the only residents on our block. One project down and a million to go.
