Tour de Cure

Tour de Cure was this past weekend. I completed 61 miles in 4 hours. It was a great day with overcast clouds and little misting rain. Jennifer and kids were my cheering squad. They made signs and followed along the tour to keep me going. Thanks you guys. It was great seeing Jen's Family!
Jen made a yellow ribbon (attached to my shirt) in memory of Grandma Piepgrass. What a great cause to participate and donate money towards seeing how evident this disease is affecting many people we all know. Thanks to everyone who donated and encouraged me onward.

Air Show

We attended the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base in the Ogden area. Several Aerobatic and vintage military planes put on a quite a show. The Thunderbirds were the highlight of the show and didn't disappoint the crowd. We had a good time, but got a little sun burned.

Salt Lake Century Ride

This past weekend I did the Salt Lake Century Bike Ride. The tour was good, but the route was not marked real well. I was going to do 67 miles, but because the route was not marked well I ended up riding 75 miles. I finished the ride in 5 hours. This was the first stop by Lagoon-mile marker 18. Then we rode to Syracuse on the west side of I-15. This was a great experience and I have learned a lot about road cycling. I love the shirt they gave us for this ride it said, "I spent the day behind bars".

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

I have been asked to work as a medical volunteer for the Oquirrh Open House. I am excited to serve during the open house, what a great opportunity. Brian will be doing parking. This is the 4th temple in the SLC valley. It will cover stakes from Magna to Bluffdale. How amazing it is to be able to see two new temples from our home.

Cory's Wedding

Here is the Bride and Groom, along with Grandpa Piepgrass.

Ang is almost as tall as I am. Luckily, I might get a few more months as the official "Big Ang".

I had to get a picture of these two, they were always doing something together.

And now the Francoms...

Here are G&G Ruward at the wedding. It was so good to see them.

Time to play catch up. Laura Garcia, my good friend from Texas came to visit in February.
